Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 on the 18th of November from Los Angeles. She has a father named Paul Felix. Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's athletic talent was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within 10 weeks of her first tryout she came 2nd in the 200m race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix had graduated high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. In 2004, Felix won her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting a junior world record by running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in her first Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo constantly placing within the top three places in all her competitions.
