Lil Tecca

Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born on August 26 2002. He is known as Lil Tecca. The release of "Ransom," his 2019 single, allowed him to become a mainstream star. The song was featured on his debut mixtape We Love You Tecca (2019) which peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200. The mixtape also featured the singles "Love Me" and "Did It Again". The album he released as his debut studio album, Virgo World (2020) was released number 10 on the Billboard 200 and included the Billboard Hot 100's top-charting tracks "Dolly" as well as "When You Down". His second mixtape "We Love You Tecca 2" was released in August 2021. It featured "Repeat It" and "Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe is a Jamaican immigrant, was born in Queens on August 26, 2002. He was born in Queens in Springfield Gardens. However, Sharpe moved later to Cedarhurst in Long Island. Sharpe has always dreamed of being able to be a part of the NBA when he was a kid but at the age of 12, he decided to pursue a career in music. Sharpe completed his studies at Lawrence High School. Tecca aged nine at the age, was rapping alongside his peers with his Xbox to record. They would make diss tracks directed at each other that was posted to SoundCloud some time ago, but was removed. He initially had no plans to pursue a musical career although he did dream of becoming a NBA star. As he entered middle school however, he started to lose interest in basketball and began taking music seriously. His first single, "Tectri", which was a hit in early 2017 was made with Lil Gummybear and released in collaboration. Lil Gummybear. The artist also dropped "Callin" as one of his early tracks. The song that he topped the charts "Ransom," which was first posted to Cole Bennett's Lyrical lemonade YouTube channel on May 22 2019 was the start of the meteoric rise of Tecca. The track ranked 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has received more than 900 million Spotify plays and over 300,000,000 YouTube views.
